ALL NIGHT GONG PUJA
the deep dive
What is an All Night Gong Puja?
The All Night Gong Puja was developed by Grand Gongmaster Don Conreaux as a powerful and transformative experience that harnesses the ancient healing power of sound. A Puja typically lasts for seven and a half hours and offers a space for an extended meditative experience where participants are immersed in the continuous sound vibration of gongs throughout the night. The event begins in the late evening and continues until early morning, creating an uninterrupted sonic environment that aligns with the natural sleep cycle. The term "puja" comes from Sanskrit, meaning reverence, honour, or worship, indicating the sacred and ceremonial nature of this practice.

Participants typically bring sleeping bags, mats, pillows and other comfort items to create a personal space where they can rest or sleep. The gong masters take turns playing the gongs throughout the night, ensuring the continuous flow of sound, as well as holding a safe space for the resting voyagers.

What can I expect?
The experience of an All Night Gong Puja is unique and deeply personal. The consistent and prolonged exposure to gong vibrations penetrate deep into the body, creating a sense of being held and supported by sound, much like floating or riding a wave. Key is to surrender and give in to the current. Many people report experiencing a range of sensations and emotions during the night. The lengthened sound of the gongs can induce a state of deep relaxation, similar to stages of sleep where the body and mind undergo restoration and rejuvenation. Some experience vivid dreams during the night and awaken in the morning with a sense of insight and clarity.

When can I join?
